The Institute for Geriatric Care Management is also home to the National Academy of Certified Geriatric Care Managers (NACGCM). Membership in the academy is open to Certified Geriatric Care Managers and includes access to ongoing Geriatric Care Management research, innovation in best practices and continuing education hours required for recertification of the (CGCM) credential.
Membership in the academy includes access to our monthly Continuing Education Online Modules for up to 15 hours of credit per year, including 5 hours of ethics credits required for recertification. The CE Modules are focused on research and innovation taking place in the field of aging services. Members also have access to our online discussion board for networking, collaboration and exchange of information with other care managers through sharing of best practices.
Members of the academy also have the opportunity to use the NACGCM Member Logo which provides a “mark of distinction” and indicates to clients and potential clients the commitment of our members to ongoing professional development training and industry expertise.
